Dr. Rosalin Pugh

Rosalin is a “vessel” and a radical disciple of Christ who has a gift of communication through music.  She has been blessed to travel Nationally to include cities on the West & East Coast, and Internationally to places such as Italy, Germany, Switzerland, etc., spreading God's word through music!  God has equipped her to lead souls to the throne of God through Praise & Worship.  She is a songwriter that writes to inspire people and encourage them to seek the Lord and His ways, to look beyond ourselves and our own inadequacies, and to look to the promises of the word of God.

Rosalin discovered her gift of singing at a very young age in Gary, Indiana, as she sang alongside her siblings in church every Sunday and throughout the week.  Although at that time she was a very shy and introverted young lady, with a fear of singing, God knew He had work for her to do; therefore He removed the spirit of fear and allowed her to release 4 Gospel CD’s:  “O’ What A Friend” 2003,  “Again & Again” 2006 , “Look To God” 2010, and a recent single, "The Greatest Command" 2017. You can always get CDs from her in person at one of her concerts or various ministering engagements.   She has produced CDs for others as well and continues to do so.

Rosalin has been walking with the Lord since 1972 and has been teaching others the art of singing and playing since 1980, including her two beautiful daughters, Daje and Dessare', who are also gifted singers involved in their own singing ministry called "R.A.Y.N." (Reaching A Youthful Nation).  She is also blessed to have her close friend and husband, Coach Lewis, supporting her for the past 26+ years!  In May 2010, God called her to go out and "Speak To The Nations", reaching the lost through spoken word and song ministry.  Rosalin also spends time ministering at the Women's Prisons and the Juvenile Dentention Centers.

Her favorite scripture is:  “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.  Philippians 4:13.

Rosalin expresses her love for the Lord through song.  Whenever her spirit is low, she shuts off the phone, enters her “music world” and releases and writes.  This is where her healing, inspiration and testimonies come from.  She has also written for other Bay Area Artists.  She received her degree in Music in 2003 and her honorary “Doctorate of Ministry” in 2004.  She continues to conduct Music Ministry Workshops from the West to the East Coast whenever called upon, inspiring others organizational structure, with an emphasis on “Praise & Worship”.   She has been an inspiration to many, many churches in this gifted area.  Rosalin and her husband Lewis, are owners of BSharp Academy which serves many artists and athletes in the Bay Area, sending them on to greatness!  They are responsible for equipping others with music expertise, fitness, and excellent athletic ability, catering to ages 5 & up.  See

In March 2011, Rosalin received the "Jefferson Award", which is an award that honors and recognizes those that serve their local communities through volunteering of public service.  She  was interviewed by CBS News/Channel 5, and this interview was  aired on their 6 p.m. news edition and on radio.  She was nominated “Pianist of the Year” by the Academy of Gospel Music Awards, San Francisco, CA in 2003 and she adds the following to her credits:  Performed back-up singing for Celine Dion’s “Power of the Dream”, Guest Soloist at Solano County Fair, Soulbeat Television, The Gospel Express Public Radio Show, Black Expo, Contra Costa College’s Summer Fest, AT&T Channel 26, Wee Poets TV Show, Mahogany Expressions TV Show, many Juneteenth Festivals, opened for Judge Mablean Ephraim, Fred Price, Norman Hutchins, Mom & Pop Winans, Rance Allen, just to name a few.  She currently travels on-call with Cassandra Mathews and the San Francisco Gospel Divas.  She's also been interviewed live on "The Light" radio station with Radio Personality, Marshalene Martin as one of the Bay Area's Best Artists!  Her music is also in rotation on this radio station.
